WHAT IS TEACHING FUTURE LEADERS?

Teaching Future Leaders was inspired by the idea that all students, including those with disabilities, can make a difference in this world. Individuals with disabilities are often underestimated. Despite facing unique challenges, they often possess remarkable resilience, adaptability, and creativity. By empowering and supporting all students, we can help them reach their potential and make a meaningful impact in this world.

My goal for Teaching Future Leaders is to provide educators with engaging and adapted materials that will meet the unique needs of their learners.

I hope Teaching Future Leaders provides you with inspiration and support that will help you make a difference in the lives of your students!

ABOUT THE CREATOR

Hi! My name is Katherine Kotora and I am the creator of Teaching Future Leaders. I am a special education teacher who is passionate about creating engaging resources to meet the unique needs of your students.

I attended Bowling Green State University (BGSU) where I earned my Bachelors in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. After my first year of teaching, I became passionate about teaching students on the Autism Spectrum. I went back to BGSU and earned my Masters in Special Education and a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me spending time with the people I love. I enjoy trying out different restaurants and exploring new places. I also enjoy reading, crafting, and shopping.
